Twitter Integration

What is Twitter? Twitter is a free social networking and microblogging service that enables its users to send and read messages known as tweets. Tweets are text-based posts of up to 140 characters displayed on the author’s profile page and delivered to the author’s subscribers who are known as followers.
What can it do for me? With Twitter connected to your BitWine account you can let all your followers know when are you available online, communicate with them about special offers you run, let them see the good reviews you get from your clients, and more. It is an invaluable tool for promoting your service. It will also help promoting you in search engines results (SEO).
How it works:
Under ‘My Profile’ you will see a new Twitter tab:
click the blue button to connect with your Twitter account. If you don’t have a Twitter account you will be able to quickly create one.
After connecting your Twitter account you will be presented with several options to customize your tweeting preferences:
Once connected, several things will happen automatically:
- Your advisor’s profile page will show your recent tweets
- When a client leaves you a good review, the system will tweet about it on your behalf (can be customized)
- When you go online the system will tweet about it on your behalf (can be customized)
- When you finish a session with a client you will be presented with an option to tweet about it
All the tweets will contain a short link to your BitWine’s profile page allowing your followers to click and reach you immediately.
A new section will be added to your service profile page (lower left side):
Tip: Put your Twitter link in your email signature (in addition to your BitWine link) for viral marketing of your service
